Sulfuric acid (sulfur ink), or H2SO4, is a liquid with a high density (1.84), colorless, clear, very strong and with a high boiling point that dissolves in water with any percentage.
Sulfuric acid referred as universal chemical, king of chemicals due to its volume of production, this strong acid is created industrially through the reaction of water and sulfur trioxide and is used to manufacture fertilizers, dyes, explosives, and detergents.
The remarkable thing about this chemical solution is that it was first discovered by the great Iranian scientist, Jabir ibn Hayyan.
Applications of Sulfuric Acid

Sulfuric acid is mainly produced as two main products (optional) and by-products (mandatory) in the world.
In the production of sulfuric acid as a main product, one production unit only produces this product, while in units where sulfuric acid is produced as a by-product such as base metal smelting units, oil refineries and coal-fired power plants, in order to control the increase of sulfur gas pollution amount in these units, the above mentioned units are required to control this gas and its conversion to sulfuric acid; hence this product is called by this name.
